A New Beginning...

Hello people..

Today I have decided to refresh my blog with a post.. Let us start off with a recent solemn event, the November 2008 Mumbai Bombings..

The November 2008 Mumbai attacks were a series of ten coordinated attacks committed by terrorists, which began across Mumbai (Bombay), the largest city in India and the country's financial capital, on 26 November 2008 and ended on 29 November 2008 when Indian Security Forces finally regained control of all attack sites. At least 174 people, including at least 34 foreign nationals, have been confirmed dead and at least 293 have been injured. On November 29, 2135 hours, the body of a Singaporean lawyer, Lo Hwei Yen, aged 28, was identified and comfirmed dead on the fateful friday night.

Eight attacks took place in South Mumbai: at the crowded Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) railway station; at two five-star hotels: the Oberoi Trident at Nariman Point, and Taj Mahal Palace & Tower near the Gateway of India; at the Leopold Cafe, a popular tourist restaurant in Colaba; at the Cama Hospital; at the Nariman House Jewish center; at the Metro Adlabs movie theatre; and at the Mumbai Police Headquarters where at least three high-level officers, including the chief of the Anti Terrorism Squad of Maharashtra, were killed by gunfire. There was also an explosion at Mazagaon docks in Mumbai's port area. The tenth incident involved a taxi blast at Vile Parle near the airport but it is uncertain whether this is connected with the South Mumbai attacks.

Here is the locations of attacks:

Moving on to something more backdated.. The Melamine Tainted products.. So far, no news from China regarding anything new.. However, I have gotten myself the 'latest' list of tainted products.. Well, at least this was the latest I could find.. You can find it at this website: http://www.xtralicious.com/2008/10/03/latest-list-of-melamine-tainted-products-hk/

Over with the news, lets talk about games.. Since the exams are over, time to relax and enjoy as much as possible.. Whenever I get time for leisure, i'm sure to use my Playstation2 to expand my gaming knowledge.. So far, i've got a couple of interesting games that teaches me stuff.. Here are the main titles..

Dynasty Warriors
Lets get through them briefly.. Dynasty Warriors is a game which revolves around the Three Kingdoms of China.. The famous warriors of Three Kingdom come to play and you get to use them to complete stages which were the actual scenes of battle during Three Kingdom..
Its a fairly easy hack and slash game that allows you to control one player at a time with different skills and weapon each.

I own Dynasty Warriors 3, 5, 5X and 5E. Let me explain what these are. DW3 is the third in series of the Dynasty Warriors Anthology, I started out from here.
Although it was relatively plain, the first time I played it, it was marvelous.. Its very fun and enriching as well.. Think about it this way, play the game and learn about historical events (although some are quite inaccurate).. By time I played DW3, DW4 and its expansions had already been released for sometime..

Reluctant to fallback, I managed to squeeze out my money to purchase DW5, DW5X and DW5E.. DW5 had much better graphics and advanced gameplay.. Its more elaborated and there is even a Chaos mode to play in (;p challenging).. I know some of you are wondering what is DW5X.. Well, 5X stands for 5 Extreme Legends.. Its the expansion of DW5 with more game modes to choose and even create your own charector.. DW5E is Empires which basically allows you to use your tactical knowledge to choose how you want your empire to conquer China.. Well, at least in the game..

Here are some in-game screenshots and wallpapers..

Recently, I have been dropping out of Dynasty Warriors for another game.. The game is rather linked to the DW Series.. Its called Warriors Orochi.. The storyline is rather pathetic but the gameplay is excellent.. Characters can be leveled up and they include warriors from DW as well as Samurai Warriors (something like Dynasty Warriors except its about Japan's Warring States)! The great thing about this is you get to play 3 characters at one shot! YES, control 3 characters! You can easily switch them around and make full use of them (this allows you to take advantage of their abilities and win the game with ease).. I got engrossed in unlocking all characters and weapons as well as their unique items and abilities.. Spent long hours on this game.. Im saving up for the second series of Warriors Orochi.. Its already out in stores..

Heres a sneak peek of Warriors Orochi:

Well, can't really play this game the whole day, I may get sick of it fast.. So instead, I switch to 'Need For Speed: Undercover' and enjoyed the fun adrenaline pumping racing game.. Yes yes, its the new game with Maggie Q.. Look at those amazing curves.. Of the race tracks I meant.. Fantastic game with exciting features and customizations.. I can't locate screenshots so I have to get them from the website itself..

Here are some of the fanstastic pictures from Need For Speed:

Over with Playstation2 Games, lets move on to PC..

Recently I have been working on creating my own private server for a game called MU Online..
I have the files required for the game, programmes installed and ready to play.. I went on to creating the server and customizing the data as well as certain gameplay stuff.. Then came the bad part, the entire game lagged.. Well, guess my computer of 1.6GHz is not good enough.. I hereby apologise to those people that I have promised to create the server.. Due to this unexpected lag in the game, I cannot proceed.. Uninstallation of all programmes and deletion of all files have already been done.. For those interested in the game MU Online, there are lots of Private Servers out there and an official Global Server to try out.. Here are the website.
www.muonline.com (Original Global MU Online Server)
www.muonline.ph (Philiphines MU Online; Use the Game Guide, its VERY useful)

Lastly, I'd like to wish everyone from CCKSS a pleasant holidays! Especially to all those friends in CCKSS, All The Best for the future.. I always believe in one motto which is 'Do your best and no regrets'.. It always works for me.. So live your life to the fullest!

Alright, thats all for now.. Time to continue my cooking quest! Goodbye people!
